Az Ultranova a legendás Supernova II utódjának tekinthető.
Legfőbb jellemzője talán a rendkívül erőteljes, ugyanakkor rugalmasan programozható hangzás. Lehetőségünk van a klasszikus szinti hangok megszólaltatására, ugyanakkor a kreatív billentyűsök és sound designerek kezébe óriási lehetőségeket ad, teljesen új, friss hangzások megalkotásához.
